Why there is no banner

We have not shown you a pop-up asking permission to place cookies. That is not an oversight.

This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no social media pixels, no behavioural data collection for commercial purposes. The only cookies and storage technologies we use are those strictly necessary for the site to work and stay protected, which under Article 22(2) of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI-CE) are exempt from the requirement to obtain consent.

We build compliance and privacy software. It seemed reasonable to start by not asking your permission for something we do not do.

This page exists nonetheless, because the duty to inform applies even where the duty to obtain consent does not.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. It is used to remember information between pages or between visits. The same legal regime applies to other technologies that store or retrieve data on a user's device, such as localStorage or sessionStorage.

5. If this changes

We commit to the following: if in future we introduce cookies that require consent — analytics with persistent identifiers, advertising, or cross-site tracking — we will implement a prior, granular consent mechanism in which rejecting is as accessible as accepting, and we will update this policy before activating them.

Our stated intention is not to reach that point. If we need analytics, we want it cookieless and hosted on our own infrastructure.
